Welcome to Woodland Havanese. We are located in Garnet Valley PA
We are hobby breeders and our Havanese are both show dogs and family companions.
I have been showing and breeding Havanese now for about 20 years, and have shown many of them to their AKC Championships. We are members in good standing with the AKC, The Havanese Club of America, The Delaware Valley Havanese Club (DVHC), and
The Greater New York Havanese Club. At the present time Diane serves as the Treasurer of the DVHC and Marylou is the Membership Chairman for the DVHC.
Our dogs are health tested for BAER, Patella’s, Hips, LCP, Heart,Thyroid
and their eyes are examined annually.
Results of their testing is sent into OFFA.
We have a few litters a year. We breed and show only Havanese.
We breed for AKC Standard, Temperament and Health.
Certain colors of Havanese are nice to look at, we feel the health, temperament and conformation of the dog are much more important.
